Cameron has been a professional track and field athlete since childhood. He was looking for ways to make money as an athlete but couldn’t find a way.
As it turned out, he wasn’t the only one facing this problem. Even athletes who had made it to the Olympics were really struggling to make money.
The elite athletes representing a nation in the Olympics struggled to make money. And he kept hearing this story repeatedly with more and more athletes he talked with.
It didn’t make sense to him. There should have been a platform that helps athletes make money from what they know instead of doing side jobs.
So, he started building Couro to solve this problem in January 2022.
Though he had a long roadmap & wanted a lot of things in the product, he was extremely clear about the highest priority features he wanted to build immediately.
